Crochet Center Cable Adjustable Ear Warmer / Headband








Crochet this cute ear warmer in the color of your choice. I opted for a Red Heart Comfy in Indigo.


The buttons are optional but you will need them to make the ear warmer adjustable.

Great for gifts for the upcoming holidays.

What you need:
Worsted weight yarn
Size J crochet hook
Buttons
Scissors

Stitches used -
Ch - chain
Sc - single crochet
Hdc - half double crochet
Dc - double crochet
Bpdc - back post double crochet
Fpdc - front post double crochet
Fptc - front post treble crochet

Gauge is not necessary for this project


Pattern

Ch 21

Row 1 -
Hdc in the 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch 1, turn, (20 Hdc)

Row 2 -
Dc in the 1st Hdc and in eac20 h Hdc across. Ch 1, turn ( 20 Dc)

Row 3 -
Dc in the 1st 2 Dc, Bpdc in the next 2 Dc, Fpdc in the next 2 Dc, Bpdc in the next 2 Dc, skip 2 Dc and Tfpc in the next 2 Dc, (now go back to the 2 skipped DC) Tfpc in the 1st skipped Dc, Tfpc in the next skipped Dc, (now go back to the unworked stitches to finish the row) Bpdc in the next 2 Dc, Fpdc in the next 2 Dc, Bpdc in the next 2 Dc, Dc in the last 2 Dc. Ch 1, turn

Row 4 -
Dc in the 1st 2 Dc, Fpdc in the next 2 Dc, Bpdc in the next 2 Dc, Fpdc in the next 2 Dc, Bpdc in the next 4 Trc, Fpdc in the next 2 Dc, Bpdc in the next 2 Dc, Fpdc in the next 2 Dc, Dc in the last 2 Dc. Ch 1, turn

Repeat Rows 3 and 4 until your ear warmer is the length that you need, ending with Row 4. I worked a total of 48 rows and my ear warmer is 20" long.

Row 49 (or the next row for you) -
Sc in the 1st Dc and in each Dc across. Ch 1, turn. (20 Sc)

Row 50 -
Sc in the 1st Sc, 3 Dc in the next Sc, skip 1 Sc, Sc in the next next Sc, * skip the next Sc, 3 Dc in the next Sc, skip the next Sc, Sc in the next Sc * Repeat from * - * to the end. Fasten off.

Finishing -

Sew the buttons along row 1 - the Hdc row. Use as many buttons as you want. I used 3 buttons and sewed 1 in the center and 1 on each side.

The buttons will slip through the stitches wherever you want to  fasten them.

Dimensional V Crochet Cameo Wrap





This is an exceptionaly warm wrap, perfect for the coldest winter evenings.

I made my wrap black to match the cameo buttons but it would be pretty in any color.

What you need:
2 skiens Red Heart Super Saver Jumbo yarn
N / 9.00mm crochet hook
2 buttons (optional)
Scissors
Yarn needle

Stitches:
Chain
Single crochet
Double crochet
Front post double crochet
Back post double crochet
Picot = Chain 2, slip stitch in 1st chain


Chain 152

Row 1 - Double crochet in the 3rd chain from hook and in each chain across. (151 double crochets) Chain 1, turn

Row 2 - Double crochet in the 1st double crochet, *skip 2 double crochet, 2 double crochet, chain 1, 2 double crochet in next double crochet, skip 2 double crochet, double crochet in next double crochet*. Repeat from * to * all the way across and ending with a double in the last double crochet.  Chain 1, turn.

Row 3 - Double crochet in the 1st double crochet, *skip 1 double crochet, front post double crochet around the next double crochet, double crochet, chain 1, double crochet in the chain 1 space, front post double crochet around the next double crochet, skip 1 double crochet, double crochet in the next double crochet*. Repeat from * to * all the way across ending with a double crochet in the last double crochet. Chain 1, turn.

Row 4 - Double crochet in the first double crochet, *skip 1 double crochet, back post double crochet around the next double crochet, double crochet, chain 1, double crochet in the chain 1 space, back post double crochet around the next double crochet, skip the next double crochet, double crochet in the next double crochet*. Repeat from * to * all the way across ending with a double crochet in the last double crochet. Chain 1, turn

Rows 5 through row 42 - repeat rows 3 and 4.

Row 43 - Double crochet in each double crochet and chain 1 space across ( 151 double crochet ) Chain 1, turn

Row 44 - Single crochet in the first double crochet, *chain 3, skip 1 double crochet, single crochet in the next double crochet*. Repeat from * to * all the way across ending with a single crochet in the last double crochet. ( 75 chain 3 spaces ) Chain 1, turn

Row 45 - ( working in the chain 3 spaces only )Work 5 single crochet in the 1st chain 3 space, *slip stitch in the next chain 3 space, 5 single crochet in the next chain 3 space*. Repeat from * to * all the way across. Fasten off.

Row 46 - Working on the opposite side of the wrap, join yarn in the 1st double crochet with a single crochet and then repeat row 44 and row 45.

Side trim:

Row 1 - Attach yarn with a single crochet to the base of row 45, *chain 3, single crochet in the side of the next double crochet*. Repeat from * to * all the way across ending with a single crochet in the base of row 45. ( 45 chain 3 spaces ) Chain 1, turn

Row 2 - Single crochet in the first single crochet, *chain 4, single crochet in the next single crochet*. Repeat from * to * all the way across ending with a single crochet in the last single crochet. Chain 1, turn

Row 3 - (working in the chain 4 spaces only ) Work 3 single crochet, picot, 3 single crochet in the 1st chain 4 space, *single crochet in the next chain 4 space, 3 single, picot, 3 single crochet in the next chain 4 space* Repeat from * to * all the way across. Fasten off.

Repeat rows 1 - 3 on the opposite side of the wrap.

Use a yarn needle to weave in ends.

Sew on buttons

Freeze Pop Cozy Crochet Pattern








I made this cozy red, white and blue on my YouTube channel but make them the color of your choice.

Simple, cute and useful, the cozy should sell well during the summer months.

What you need:
#10 Crochet Thread in Red, White and Blue
1/2.75mm Crochet Hook
Embroidery Needle
Scissors

Cozy

Beginning with red -

Ch 26

Row 1: Sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (25 sc)
Ch 3, turn.

Row 2: 2 Dc in 1st sc, *skip 2 sc, sc in next sc, skip 2 sc, 5 Dc in next sc* repeat from * to * until 3 sc remain. Skip 2 sc, 3 Dc in last sc.
Ch 1, turn.

Row 3: sc in 1st Dc, *skip 2 Dc, 5 Dc in next sc, skip 2 Dc, sc in next Dc*, repeat from * to * until 3 Dc remain, sc in last Dc.
Chain 3, turn.

Rows 4 - 11: Repeat rows 2 and 3 alternately.

Fasten off leaving a long tail to sew sides. Change to white.

Rows 12 - 21: Repeat rows 2 - 11.

Fasten off leaving a long tail to sew sides.
Change to blue.

Rows 22 - 31: Repeat rows 2 - 11.

Fasten off leaving a long tail to sew sides and bottom.

Fold cozy in half lengthwise. Using the long tails, sew the sides and bottom together. Weave in ends. Turn the cozy right side out.

Flower:

Using white
Ch 2

Round 1: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sl st in 1st sc to join.
Ch 1

Round 2: 2 sc in each sc around. Sl st to join in 1st sc. (12 sc)

Round 3: sc in 1st sc, 5 trc in next sc, *sc in next sc, 5 trc in next sc*. Repeat from * to *, sl st to join in 1st sc.

Fasten off, weave in ends.

Place the flower on the cozy and working around the posts of the first round of sc, join with a sc around the post of any of the 6 sc making sure the thread is passing through the front of the cozy at the same time. Sc around the post of each sc and through the cozy. Sl st to join in the 1st sc. (6 sc)
Ch 1

Round 2: Sc in the 1st sc, *5 trc in the next sc, sc in the next sc*. Repeat from * to *. Sl st to join in the 1st sc, fasten off.
Weave in ends
